Blair took advantage of a slow start by Platteview to jump out to an early lead it never relinquished in a 44-30 Eastern Midlands Conference win.

The Bears outscored the host Trojans 13-4 in the first quarter and led 24-12 at halftime. Platteview scored just three points in the third quarter as Blair went up by 21 points.

Blair's Sydney Lawton led all scorers with 17 points. Teammate Kelsey Anderson chipped in 10.

Senior Annie Benson was the top scorer for the Trojans with eight points. She also grabbed nine rebounds.
