Elkhorn (17-2)     17 11 13 15 56
Platteview (4-14)  5   8   5   3 21

Game Stats

Elkhorn overwhelmed visiting Platteview as the Class A No. 9 Antlers, ranked tenth overall in Nebraska, neutralized senior Annie Benson, generated 27 turnovers with full-court pressure, and limited the Trojans to single-digit scoring in all four quarters of a lopsided 56-21 Eastern Midlands Conference win.

The Antlers were off and running in the first quarter and led 17-5 after eight minutes, and Platteview never threatened to get back in the regular season finale for both teams.

Elkhorn shot 49 percent from the field. Cathleen Cox scored 15 points to lead all scorers. Brittney Lynch added 13.

Benson led Platteview with six points.
